Filbert, Peter L., a son of Samuel Filbert, was born in Berks Co.
He is married to Lillie Helms. He has two sons, Lewis and Frank, both are machinists and live in Philadelphia; he is freight agent for the P. & R. Co. for some 35 years.
He has accumulated quite some property.
He served as Chief Burgess and Councilman.
