Jacob Barnhart Biography
Jacob Barnhart died in Spring township, Oct. 10, 1874, aged ninety-one years, four months, twenty days, having been born at Trappe, Montgomery Co., May 20, 1783. Oct. 14, 1814, he married Mary Holt, daughter of Col. John Holt, and moved in 1818 to the farm in Nittany valley then belonging to John G. Lowrey, Esq., where he died.
