C. Brandes Biography
C. Brandes, physician and surgeon, office and dwelling 124 and 126 East 8th St., Erie, was born in Germany March 29, 1819, son of F. Brandes. The Doctor acquired his literary education in Germany, and took the degree of A.M. at Brunswick. He also obtained his medical education in Germany, and in 1845 caine to America and to this city, where he has since resided.
Here the Doctor immediately began the practice of his profession, and has succeeded in establishing himself among the prominent physicians of Erie.
